Logo Usage Policy

 

This policy provides our requirements regarding use of the logotypes of SnJ Wedding Services International Pte Ltd (hereinafter "SnJ“) and its subsidiaries available for download from the SnJ website (or any other trademarks, logos, service marks, trade dress, slogans, copyrighted designs or other brand features of SnJ obtained from the website) ("Logos").

As the need to address future branding concerns arises, we may cancel, modify, or change the terms of this policy from time to time without notice to you. You, as a Logo user (“you"), are responsible for complying with any modified terms, so please review this policy and also become familiar with any modifications we publish.

The Logos are the sole and exclusive properly of SnJ and its affiliates. Your use of any Logo implies acceptance of, and agreement with, the terms of this policy. If you do not accept and agree to follow (he rules for using the Logos as set out in this policy, you do not have the right to use the Logos and should not use them. Any use of the Logos that does not comply with this policy is not authorized. If you violate the rules set out in this policy, you must cease all use of all Logos, regardless of the uses otherwise allowed in this policy. Rules for Using the Logos

You must comply with all of the following rules when using a Logo:

    • Do not change the design of any Logo

    • Do not change or vary the colors of any Logo, except that the Logos may be all black or can be reversed out in white.

    • Avoid screening Logos to less than 100%

    • Do not shrink any Logo to less than 1" in height

    • Where indicated, ‹8› and symbols are part of a Logo and must be used with the applicable Logo. The tagline “Wedding Made Affordable" must not be separated from the SnJ Logo.

    • Do not combine a Logo with any other design, trademark, 9Faghic, text or other element, including your name, any trademarks or any generic terms.

    • No other design, trademark, text, graphic or other element may be placed closer to a Logo than the height of the tallest letter in the Logo, such as the letter "S" in SnJ.

    • Logos may only be placed on solid backgrounds (preferably bright white), and not over an image or pattern, and no artistic effects (such as drop shadows) may be applied.

  • No Logo may be used or displayed in any of the following ways:

    • in any manner that, in the sole discretion of SnJ, discredits SnJ or tarnishes its reputation and goodwill;

    • in any manner that infringes, dilutes, depreciates the value, or impairs the rights of SnJ in the Logos;

    • in any manner that is false or misleading;

    • in connection with any pornography, illegal activities, or other materials that are defamatory, libelous, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;

    • in any manner that violates the trademark, copyright or any other intellectual property rights of others:

    • in any manner that violates any law, regulations, or other public policy; or

    • as part of a name of a product or service of a company other than SnJ.

  • Written materials, such as web pages, must be marked to indicate that the Logos used are owned by SnJ or its affiliates (for example by using a statement such as, 'the SnJ logo is a registered trademark of SnJ").

  • All goodwill generated by the use of any Logo inures to the benefit of SnJ.

  • You may not assert rights to any Logo whether by trademark registration, domain name registration or anything else.

  • You must, upon request from SnJ, provide samples of any materials that include the Logos for purposes of determining compliance with this policy.

  • You must make any changes to your use of the Logos that are requested by SnJ.

  • Your download and use of the Logos are subject to the SnJ Site Terms.

Business partners who have agreements with SnJ must comply with the terms of their agreement in addition to this policy.

WEDDING VENUE TERMS & CONDITION

Our terms and conditions have been set out to ensure all guests enjoy a safe and relaxing time whilst visiting our Venue. Please read this information carefully as it contains important information about Events at Venues in

SnJ Wedding Services International Pte Ltd (Bijan@Grandlink Square).

 

1. DEFINITIONS

For the purpose of these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
‘Event Order’ means the form provided to you prior to your event stating all details of your function.
‘Business Day’ means any day from Monday to Friday inclusive, except public holidays.
‘SnJ’ means SnJ Wedding Services International Pte Ltd, B'Majestic, B’Sayng, B’Qaseh, B’Anbu & B’Chinta Ballroom and its managers, supervisors and employees. ‘SnJ Premises’ means the premises situated at Bijan@Grandlink Square.

2. BOOKINGS

2.1 Your chosen venue will be held tentatively for one to seven (01-07) days (Exceptions and extensions may apply at management’s discretion), from the date SnJ accepts your booking.
2.2 Confirmation of your booking is confirmed upon deposit payment made. If a signed copy of this “Terms and Conditions” document and a deposit are not received by SnJ OR Instalments payments are defaulted prior to the payment dates given, the venue will be released and your booking may be cancelled. Exceptions and extensions may apply at management’s discretion. 

4. DEPOSITS

4.1 Deposit - A 30% non-refundable deposit is required for booking. The deposit is to be paid with terms and conditions signed before your booking is guaranteed. SnJ reserves the right not to take any tentative bookings.
4.2 Second Payment - Four (4) months prior to your Event date, 50% of your estimated Event cost is required to be paid
4.3 Final Payment - One (1) months prior to your Event date, 20% of your estimated Event cost is required to be paid

5. PAYMENT

5.1 Services will not be provided without the 100% payment being received.
5.2 Thirty (30) clear Business Days before your function, all payment MANDATORY to be completed to SnJ.

 

6. EVENT DETAILS

6.1 You are required to provide SnJ in writing any special request for entertainment, , room setups requirements (at managements discretions & SCDF safety compliance) in connection with your Event. These details are required at least three (3) month before your Event.
6.2 Guaranteed numbers – final attendance numbers must be submitted to SnJ twenty-one (31) days prior to your Event, 50pax in 1 session OR 100pax in 2 sessions OR 100pax in 1 sessions of 2 zones 50pax seating capacity.
6.3 You must ensure that nothing is nailed, screwed or adhered in any way to any wall, door or another part of the building unless prior permission is granted by SnJ.
6.5 SnJ (Bijan@Grandlink) Ballrooms is open to other guests. All guests are required to observe house rules, trespass, noise (music is to be turned down low after 10.00pm) and general behavior, particularly in the evening. Anyone in your party creating nuisance may be asked to leave SnJ Premises immediately and will be liable for any damages caused either to other guests or the proprietor.

7. EVENT CANCELLATION

7.1 All cancellations are required in writing.
7.2 All deposits / payments are non-refundable.
7.3 Notice within one (1) to six (6) months of your Event date, 50% of the Event cost will be charged.
7.4 Notice within fourteen (14) days to thirty (30) days of your Event date, 90% of the Event cost will be charged.
7.5 Notice within fourteen (14) days of your Event date, 100% of the Event cost will be charged.

8. FOOD TASTING (APPLICABLE FOR EXCLUSIVE PACKAGE ONLY)

9. CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF SNJ

9.1 If SnJ is unable to provide the facilities or any other arrangements for your Event or any part thereof, or to otherwise perform the terms of this agreement and SnJ failure is due to circumstances beyond its decision or control, SnJ is not responsible for any costs, damages or expenses that you may suffer or incur.
9.2 SnJ cannot guarantee the same sales person or coordinator throughout the planning process. In the result of a sales person or coordinator ceasing employment a new sales person or coordinator will be allocated at SnJ discretion.

10. CONDUCT OF THE EVENT

10.1 Your Event must be conducted in an orderly and lawful manner.
10.2 SnJ may terminate your Event if SnJ reasonably believes that your Event is not being conducted in an orderly and lawful manner.
10.3 SnJ has no responsibility to you for any costs, damages or expenses that you may incur in relation to SnJ termination of your Event.
10.4 SnJ may exclude or remove any persons or possessions from your Event or from SnJ premises. No food or beverages of any kind, other than those provided by SnJ, will be permitted at the Event venue without the consent of a representative of SnJ.
10.6 This SnJ practices principle of responsible DO NOT serve alcohol. Any intoxicated persons will be removed from the premises & handed to authority.

11. SURCHARGES

11.1 A surcharge of $300 per hour is applicable if an Event continues longer than event duration stated in the contract.

12. EXTERNAL SUPPLIERS

12.1 Where goods or services are supplied from an external supplier additional terms and conditions may apply, such as additional deposits, earlier confirmation of final numbers or cancellation fees. You are responsible for any fees that may apply in relation to the supplier’s terms and conditions.
12.2 SnJ acts as an agent for external suppliers, such as Photography and Videography, Decorators, Cake Supplier and others, therefore the suppliers hold all responsibility for their services.

13 ITEMS NOT COLLECTED

13.1 Any items that have not been collected after the event will be disposed of within seven (7) days.

14. SNJ WAIVERS RESPONSIBILITY FOR:

14.1 Theft, damage or loss of any goods brought onto SnJ (Bijan@Grandlink) Premises
14.2 Any introduction of food to the Event and the effect of thereafter.

15. LOSS AND DAMAGE TO SNJ PROPERTY

15.1 You are responsible for all loss and damage to the property of SnJ (including SnJ Premises and any fixtures, furnishings or goods on or off SnJ) caused by or arising from any act or omission by you, your guests or any other persons attending your Event or present in SnJ Venues.

16. SUBSTITUTION OF DRESSING/MAKEUP ROOM

16.1 SnJ may assign you to another area or room for your Event dressing in the event that the area or room originally designated for your Event is unavailable for any reason or SnJ believes the area of SnJ   originally designated for your function is deemed inappropriate.

16.2 Each client (couple) is assigned to one (1) dressing/makeup room per venue booked. Dressing/Makeup Room are solely for Bride, Groom & Makeup Artist used ONLY. 

17. PRICE VARIATIONS

17.1 Whilst every effort is made to maintain prices as printed or quoted, they may be subject to increase without notice to cover unforeseen price rises. Please note: each package may be increased on January one (1) each year (Exceptions and extensions may apply at management’s discretion)
17.2 If your Event date is changed to the next year for any reason, the new Event Package Prices and Venue Hire Fees will apply.

18. PACKAGE EXPIRY

18.1 All packages and service provisions in the contract are valid for 01 calendar years from the date of contracting.

 

BRIDAL FITTINGS TERMS

 

This agreement is between all clients, hereinafter referred to as the "Clients", and SnJ Wedding Services International Pte Ltd, hereinafter referred to as the "SnJ". These service agreements are subjected to be changed any time without prior notice.

 

1. Entire Agreement:

This agreement contains the entire understanding between the Clients and SnJ.

 

2. Complete Trust:

By engaging SnJ, the Clients trust SnJ Bridal Consultant completely, including her professionalism, character, bridal skill and decision.

 

3. APPOINTMENTS:

All fittings are by appointment ONLY.  It is essential to either keep to the appointed time or inform us of delays or cancellations.  We reserve the right to charge for missed appointments if no notice or less than 1 hour notice is given for cancellation.

 

4. MISSED APPOINTMENTS CHARGES:

$50 for every 30 mins  

Your first alteration appointment be informed by the bridal consultant three (03) working months before your date of event. You’re to choose your most suitable outfits carefully taking into considerations advice by our professional bridal consultant. After these selections, NO CHANGES ARE ALLOWED.

 

Your second alteration appointment which is the final fitting will be informed by the bridal consultant one (01) month working days before your date of event. Fittings are for 30 mins to 2 hours (at management discretions).  Please do not be late for your appointment as we have days when brides are booked one after the other for the entire day. NO CHANGES ARE ALLOWED during or after these appointments.

4.1 NO FITTINGS shall be scheduled on Weekends and Public Holidays as we’re engage in an event.

 

5. FITTING FEES:

Should there be any changes required between the period of 1st and 2nd fitting period, consultation and fitting fees are applicable:

2.4.1.     Subsequent Fittings Appointments - $100 per appointments

2.4.2.     Subsequent minimum Fittings Fee - $50 per hour.

 

6. 'MADE TO ORDER' NEW WEDDING DRESS FROM SnJ:

Once you have visited our collections and chosen your dream wedding dress, the bridal consultant will take your measurements and order your new gown.  We will order your wedding dress at your largest measurement.  For example, if you are size 16 bust, and size 18 waist, we will order you a new size 18 wedding dress and our seamstress will tailor your gown to your exact size when you have your alteration fittings. Do take note “MADE TO ORDER” is SnJ customized the outfit for you as per your requirements or specifications AND the outfit REMAINS a property of SnJ.

 

7. “MADE TO ORDER” DEPOSIT. 

On the day of order, we will request a 100% deposit.  Deposit is non-refundable

 

8. DELIVERY:  

A new made to order wedding dress can take anywhere between 3 and 5 months for delivery.  If we feel we are working to tight delivery times, we will inform our seamstress of the date of your wedding to confirm that your order is OK to place.  Our seamstress will only take orders they can fulfil. Please note that delivery date is estimated and from time to time there may short delays so please be very flexible with your expectation’s dates.

 

9. CANCELLATION:

If you change your mind about your wedding dress or in the unfortunate circumstance you cancel your wedding, you must still pay for your wedding dress in full.

 

10. PHOTOGRAPHY:

Our business exercises a NO-PHOTO POLICY to protect the privacy of our customers and our trade secrets.

BRIDAL  & MUA TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

INTERPRETATION: In these Terms & Conditions, the following terms shall have the respective meanings –
“Customer” refers to the bride and groom, and includes any other representative or agents of the bride and groom, “SNJ” refers to SnJ Wedding Services International Pte Ltd, “Contract” refers to the invoice agreement for the supply of wedding related services, “Package” refers to all services stated in the Agreement between the Customer and SNJ

 

1. General
1.1. These (“T&Cs”)shall apply to the Contract and all subsequent products and services provided by SNJ pursuant to the Contract. The headings used below are for ease of reference and should not be used as an aid for interpretation nor does it limit the application of the terms in any way whatsoever.
1.2. This Agreement contains the whole agreement between the Parties and supersedes and replaces any prior written or oral agreements, representations or understandings between them. The Customer and SNJ confirm that they have not entered into this Agreement on the basis of any representation that is not expressly incorporated into this Agreement. SnJ may, from time to time and at its sole and absolute discretion, amend these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
1.3. The Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of the terms of the Contract by SNJ shall be a claim in contract and, any consequential and/or indirect losses as well as tortuous liabilities of the Customer’s, are specifically excluded. In the event of any breaches of the Contract, SNJ shall have the option, at its own discretion, to rectify the breach(es), up to the reasonable standard expected of a similar service provider or to provide monetary compensation to the Customer provided always that SNJ’s total/cumulative liability for breaches under this Contract shall not exceed 30% of the Contract Price reflected on the Contract.

 

2. Payments
2.1. All payments by the Customer are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation of any products and/or services or the cancellation of the Contract.

2.1.2. 30% (Deposits non-refundable) of Total Cost are required upon confirmation, 50% to be paid 120 working days (4 month) before actual day of event & balance 20% 30 working days (1 month) before date of event.
2.2. In the event of late payment or non-payment where the payment of the contract amount is not received, or the payment is declined by the milestones stated, SNJ shall be entitled, without any prejudice to any other right or remedy:-
2.2.1. not to provide any further services or part of the services;
2.2.2. to require that the Customer make a payment in advance of any services or part of the Package services not yet supplied;
2.2.3. to terminate the contract without any further obligations to the Customer and to retain any monies already paid; and/or
2.2.4. not to provide any materials, services, or rental items due in the Package until such payment is made.

 

3. Package Expiry
3.1. All packages and service provisions in the contract are valid for 01 calendar years from the date of contracting.

 

4. Booking Cancellation Policy for Makeup & Hair
4.1. In the event of cancellation or change of date of the abovementioned services after the customer has confirmed, the following cancellation charges will be applicable:
– More than 90 days prior to the date of original date of service or product delivery : Amount equivalent to 50% of applicable charges.
– Less than 90 days prior to the date of original date of service or product delivery : Amount equivalent to 100% of applicable charges.

 

 

5. Damage/ Loss of Items
5.1. The Customer will be responsible for the cost of repair or loss of any items rented by the customer provided that if the same cannot be repaired based on the reasonable judgment of SNJ or is lost, the customer agrees to pay the full value of the item. In addition, if at the end of the wedding, any damages are found to have been done to any of the rental items, SNJ reserves the right to require the Customer to provide additional monetary PAYMENT for the purposes of defraying the expense of the repair of such damage and/or the replacement of damaged property or to offset the cost of repair and/or replacement from any monetary deposit already placed by the Customer with SNJ. Provided that where such deposit is insufficient, SNJ reserves the right to recover the full expense of such repair and/or replacement from the Customer.
5.2. The Customer shall take good care of and shall not cause any damage / permit / suffer any damage to SNJ’s gowns, suits, outfits, rental items, fittings, equipment, accessories or other property therein and shall make good and pay for any damage thereto (including accidental damage) caused by any act or omission (whether negligently or otherwise) of the Customer, his servants, agent or any other person.

 

6. Rental of Gowns/ Dresses/ Suits/ Tuxedos/ Jackets/Accessories
6.1. A refundable “Cash Deposit” of a minimum of $300nett (for local use) and $500nett (for overseas use) is required for Gowns/ Dresses/ Suits/ Tuxedos/ Jackets / Accessories for requested advance collection.
6.2. The maximum rental period of items is 7 calendar days from day of collection to day of return.

6.2.1 Additional charges of $1000nett per 7 days / $500 per day / $300 per hour OR part there off (from point of time Client extend to point of time SnJ RECEIVED on hand)  will apply beyond the maximum rental period.
6.3. In the event where the customer requests for change of design after having given a confirmation to SNJ, a surcharge of $300nett will apply.

 

7. The Customer’s Obligation
7.1. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that for the SNJ to be able to provide the Package services, the Customer shall cooperate with SNJ, as SNJ reasonably requires.
7.2. Instructions given by the Customer, by phone, verbal, email or text messages or any other form of communication will be taken as binding instructions.
7.3. SNJ may charge the Customer for any additional costs and expenses incurred by SNJ caused by the Customer’s instructions, failure to provide instructions or instructions by the advised timeline.

 

8. Copyright, License and Other Fees
8.1. The Customer shall be responsible for the cost of any music, or other entertainment for services or products produced, whether arranged through SNJ or otherwise. All royalties, permits, license fees (including fees or royalties payable to the Performing Rights Society Ltd or other organizations entitled to be paid in respect of music, sound recordings, videos or films used at the Function) or other taxes and charges shall be solely borne and paid by the Customer. The Customer shall also indemnify SNJ in respect of all payments, losses, damage and expense in connection with the above. SNJ or any of its affiliates or third-party vendors shall have the rights to use the any photos taken of the Customer in online and offline marketing collaterals and channels, for stock and self-promotional purposes, including but not limited to, printed materials, web and printed portfolio use, as well as use in contests and any future media that may be invented.

 

9. Force Majeure
9.1. SNJ will not have any liability or deemed to be in breach of this Agreement for any delays or failures in performance of this Agreement, which result from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the SNJ. This may include, but not limited to events such as:-
9.1.1. loss, damage, theft and/or failure of the SNJ or its third party’s equipment or products;
9.1.2. fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster;
9.1.3. war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities;
9.1.4. nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout; and/or
9.1.5. failure of electricity or other civil services.

 

10. Warranties, Liabilities and Indemnities
10.1. The Customer shall indemnify and hold harmless SNJ from and against all Claims and Losses arising from loss, damage, liability, injury to the SNJ’s employees and third parties, infringement of third-party intellectual property, or third-party losses by reason of or arising out of the performance of this Agreement. For the purpose of this Agreement, ‘Claims’ shall mean all demands, claims, proceedings, penalties, fines and liability (whether criminal or civil, in contract, tort or otherwise); and ‘Losses’ shall mean all losses including without limitation financial losses, damages, legal costs and other expenses of any nature whatsoever.

 

11. Announcements/Disclosures
11.1. No Party shall issue or make any public announcement or disclose any information regarding this agreement unless prior to such public announcements or disclosures it furnishes all the Parties with a copy of such announcement or information and obtains the approval of such persons to its terms. However, no Party shall be prohibited from issuing or making any such public announcement or disclosing such information if it is necessary to do so to comply with any applicable law. SNJ reserves the right to pursue legal action against the Customer for any form of defamatory posts online and offline.

 

12. Excused Non-Performance
12.1. In the event that SNJ is unable or prevented from carrying out whole or part of its obligations under the Agreement for any reason beyond the control of SNJ, including but not limited to any laws, decrees or restraints by governmental authorities, act of God, force majeure, strikes, war or riot, SNJ shall be excused during the period of such event from performing its obligations hereunder but such inability shall as far as possible be remedied with reasonable dispatch. SNJ shall reserve the right to provide a replacement item or service provider of the same market value in the event of the original item or service provider not being able to provide the service stated in the Agreement.

 

13. Other Provisions
13.1. This Contract shall be governed by Singapore law. The Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) shall be excluded from application to this Contract. Any amendment or waiver of any terms of this Contract shall be in writing and acknowledged in writing by SNJ.

 

MAKEUP ARTIST TERMS

 

1. HAIR & MAKEUP TRIAL
Hair and makeup trials are recommended to make sure you’re going to look perfect on your big day. We do one look during the trial and complete it to perfection. Makeup Trials $150 at 90 mins (after the first 90 minutes will be charged at $50 per 30 minutes. A second trial can be booked subject to availability, the same charges as your first trial will apply. Trials are not compulsory but are recommended, without a trial we will not accept responsibility if a chosen style or look does not work on a wedding day or there are circumstances where there is a mismatch in styles, approach, or expectations, and a refund will not be offered. 7 days prior notice must be given if you wish to cancel or reschedule your trial date. In the likely event that we have turned away alternative bookings to accommodate your trial, you will be charged. We reserve the right to cancel a booking following a trial, without a refund of the deposit, in circumstances where there is a mismatch in styles, approach, expectations and/or the client is uncooperative, not open to suggestions or makes any member of our team feel uncomfortable. It is advisable that you familiarize yourself with our work portfolio and ensure you are confident our capabilities and style are appropriate before securing a booking. Strictly no trials are on Saturday's, Sunday’s & Public Holiday’s due to wedding jobs. Makeup services apply STRICLY for the bride ONLY, any request made thereafter are chargeable at $90 per pax.

2. HAIR EXTENSIONS
Are you dreaming of a long and flowing bridal hair? or a seriously stylish up-do that requires lots of volume? Then you might have considered having hair extensions for your wedding. If you have fine, thin hair and struggling to grow your hair fast enough for your big day or you simply want to make sure you can create the hairstyle you want we highly suggest having hair extensions. Please inform us prior to your trial so we can order in the correct color and advise you on pricing.  If a member of the bridal party wishes to bring their own clip in extensions on the wedding day, they must have them already placed on their head prior to starting hair services or if they want the bridal hair stylist to place and curl them, an additional fee will be assessed to their hair service. This may throw off the timeline also, due to extra time placing the  bridal hair extensions and curling of the additional hair so it is very important we are  informed prior to the wedding day.

3. PARKING
Parking must be provided for and paid for by  the client. Our hair and makeup artists carry a lot of heavy equipment so valet parking at all hotels is a must and will need to be arranged prior to the wedding date please.

 

4. TRAVEL FEE
Travel  fee will be calculated depending on how many stylists you require and the distance the stylists will need to travel to your location. A personalized quote will be emailed to you. You will be expected to cover all costs for hotel accommodation where it is not practical to travel on the day of your wedding i.e., limited time available, or severe weather conditions have been forecast.

5. EARLY MORNING WEDDINGS
$50 per 30mins apply for before 6am starts.

 

6. ASSISTANT FEE
If you would like to reduce the time taken, I can bring my assistant for an additional flat fee of $200 travel fee costs.

7. IN THE EVENT OF DELAYS EXPERIENCED ON THE DAY 
If we experience unforeseen delays which are out of our control refunds will not be given in the event that one or more services are forfeited as a result and no compensation will be offered if we overrun. If you are aware of factors, which could delay or hinder our journey, such as diversions, road closures, speed restrictions, issues etc. please advise us as soon as possible so we can factor this into our route. No refund or compensation will be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party. A minimum of 60 minutes will be allocated for hair or makeup application per person. If you suspect any member of your bridal party may pose as a challenge in any way, they are encouraged to have a trial to avoid potential delays on the day.

 

8. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS ON THE WEDDING DAY 
Please ensure you’re aware of timings on the day and need to be, and remain, available.   We request that all parties cooperate on the day of the booking which includes being ready at the scheduled time for hair and makeup, and not eating or using mobile phones whilst getting makeup done. This will ensure we run on time and there is no delay. Please ensure all other instructions provided to you prior to the booking are followed, e.g., to make sure hair is washed and dried straight the night before. Please ensure that our team will be working in a suitable environment with adequate lighting, by a window is best so we have natural light. electricity points, and hand washing facilities and a large high table for our products.  You are to inform us of any allergies or reactions prior to, or after, any makeup application or hair styling. If no known allergies are stated we cannot be held liable for any reactions, injuries, losses, damage, costs, claims and actions that may occur to you or any other member of your party. Prior to having makeup applied or hair styled please ensure you and your party are prepared, to avoid leaving the chair whilst we are working. Please ensure teeth are cleaned, you have been to the toilet and contact lenses are applied (if applicable), before sitting in the chair. Also make sure you are make-up free, (we will prep your skin.) On a wedding day, time is of the essence. Please do not sit children/babies on your lap whilst having your hair styled or make-up applied. For their own safety please ensure that children are kept away from our styling tools and products at all times. Styling irons are extremely hot, and hazardous, and we will not be held responsible if a child is injured as a result of the parent or care not being present. We are not obliged to stay if we have completed our work before the estimated completion time.  We may refuse to follow any instructions (including posing for photographs) that are outside the scope of our makeup and hairstyling services. Our makeup artist professionals will justify the most suitable hairdo & makeup for you base on her judgements, experience, events & module of photoshoot i.e., Outdoor/Indoor/Semi-Shades as advice by the Photographer etc. We will not execute any task or requirements by your immediate family members/relatives as to determine how do your makeup/hairdo should look.

​9. WET HAIR
A $50 additional blow out fee will be assessed to anyone who arrives to their stylist on the wedding day with wet hair. This will throw off the timeline also, due to extra time blowing out the hair.

10. LIABILITY
All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. 

 

11. ALLERGIES AND HYGIENE
Unless a list of ingredients of potential reactive ingredients are presented to me before the makeup application, Blossom Hair & Makeup is not responsible for any reactions to makeup. If you or your bridal party are suffering from any type of contagious illness including, but not limited to, conjunctivitis, eye styes/cysts, cold sores, open wounds/cuts on the face and neck, staph infection, head lice, or a flu or other contagious illness, I need to be informed as a matter of urgency and reserve the right to refuse service of any infectious person. This is a precaution taken in order to ensure non-contamination of my kit and brushes, despite the fact all items are sanitized between clients.

PHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGE COPYRIGHT 
​It is imperative that we continue to update our portfolio and demonstrate our work to future prospective brides. We are happy to be photographed on your wedding  day however, any photo image incorporating our team in action, or our hair and/or make-up design, on the internet or on any other advertisement, must make reference or credit us as the hair and/or makeup artists.


12. YOUR PRIVACY
Your privacy is taken very seriously. Your personal information will never be used for any purpose other than processing your booking and   conducting our service with you. Further, your information will not intentionally be passed on to a third party under any circumstances

 

13. REFUSAL TO COMMIT:

Both Bridal Consultant & Makeup Artist reserves the right to not take any assignments that they deem inappropriate, unflattering or may cause any harm to their equipment or themself physically or mentally.

Photography Terms

 

This agreement is between all clients, hereinafter referred to as the "Clients", and SnJ Photographer, hereinafter referred to as the "Photographer". These service agreements are subjected to be changed any time without prior notice.

 

1. Entire Agreement

This agreement contains the entire understanding between the Clients and the Photographer.

 

2. Complete Trust

By engaging the Photographer, the Clients trust the Photographer completely, including his professionalism, character, photography skill and decision.

Booking & Payment

 

3. Pre-event Consultation

This normally happens at the time of booking. The Clients will outline broadly what is required and the Photographer will advise on planning, logistics and timings where needed.

 

4. Under-declaration of Requirements 

The Photographer reserves the rights to reject the additional requirements or revise the quotation at any point of time if the Clients have failed to provide important details, such as the exact location, start and end time for the Photographer to be present, or for special requests such as early delivery or privacy of photographs. In situation where the additional requirements cannot be fulfilled for whatever reason the shoot will continue without the additional requirements.

 

5. Confirmation

A payment of the booking fee (deposit – ala carte service) is necessary to confirm the photography services by the Photographer. Quotation and availability are subjected to changes before the booking fee is given to the Photographer. In the event of the Clients cancelling the shoot for whatever reason the booking fee is non-refundable. It will be considered as liquidated damages to the Photographer.

 

6. Payment of Booking Fee – ala carte service

 The payment of booking fee (Deposit non-refundable) is via Interbank Transfer / Paynow to the SnJ bank account. If the Clients fail to pay the booking fee within 08 hours after SnJ has given the bank account details, the Clients hold the responsibility to double confirm the availability of the Photographer on the agreed date in case another client has already booked the Photographer.

 

7. Full Payment

 The full payment, less the booking fee, is to be paid to the Photographer LATEST One (1) Day before commencement of the day of the shoot. It can be via InterBank Transfer OR Paynow.

 

8. Booking Duration

 Booking duration includes the setting up and dismantling of equipment, such as the strobe(s) and light modifiers where necessary. The booked duration will begin at the stated timing and include both breaks and travelling time. Although the Photographer will always try to turn up at the venue earlier to get settled down, he is not subjected to begin shooting earlier. If the Clients want the Photographer to turn up earlier to have a proper rest or capture the scenery, interior, food, items or the arrival of guests, which is highly advisable to create a better flow of the story through the photographs, the Clients will have to include the time into the booking duration of the Photographer.

 

9. Minimum Booking Duration

 The minimum booking duration of the Photographer is two hours in a block (continuous). Any shoot period less than two hours in a block will be charged as two hours of shoot.

Actual Shooting Day

 

10. Venue Shoot

Shoot will be taken within the venue vicinity OR location ONLY.

 

11. Bad Weather

In situation of bad weather for an outdoor shoot, the Client will suggest an alternate location for the shoot. The booked (starting and ending) time for the Photographer remains the same.

 

12. Extension of Shoot

Extension of shoot is subjected to the Photographer's availability and energy. The Clients are advised to give advance notice to the Photographer for any possibility of extension of shoot.

 

13. Meal

The Photographer will need to eat in order to replenish his energy and stay in tip-top condition. The Clients agree to provide a meal for the Photographer if the length of attendance exceeds four hours. In situation where a buffet is catered, the Clients agree to provide a share for the Photographer. The Photographer may also take a bite or break in the midst of any shoot.

 

14. Transportation

In cases where there is more than one venue for the event, transportation will be provided by the Clients OR Clients have to pay for any transportation & parking charges should the Photographer have their own means of transportation.

 

15. Cooperation

The Clients and the Photographer consent to happily cooperating and communicating with each other to achieve the best possible result within the understanding of this contract.

If required, we recommend that the Photographer be provided with a helper who will point out key individuals to be photographed. The Photographer may also require the assistance of the person in organizing group shots. The Clients also agree to give the Photographer sufficient warning of key events to give the Photographer time to prepare e.g., Bouquet throwing, cake cutting, award presentation, speeches etc. Please note that not all guests like having their photographs taken. In such cases the Photographer will use his discretion but cannot be held responsible for a lack of photographs of these people.

 

16. Quality over Quantity

The Clients agree that quality of photographs is more important than quantity of photographs and do not rush the Photographer during the shoot. Depending on the situation, the Photographer will set up strobe(s) (lighting) and light modifier(s), which will take up lots of time. The Clients understand that any changes in position of shoot or sunlight may require testing of exposure, including for the ambient light and then power of strobes, which require time.

 

17. The Schedule

The Photographer's shooting schedule, style of working and experience are designed to achieve a great set of photographs for the Clients, accomplished with good humor and enjoyed by all concerned. Both the Clients and the Photographer therefore agree that punctuality and cheerful cooperation are essential to producing outstanding photographic results. In cases where the shoot does not run-on time (for example, extreme lateness by one of the Clients arriving to the location) the Photographer cannot guarantee to take his normal set of photographs although in such circumstances he will do his absolute best to compensate.

 

18. Paparazzi Guests

All the guests will have digital cameras and all the guests will want to photograph the Clients or subject(s). In the spirit of cheerful cooperation, the Clients agree to give the Photographer precedence over the guests in order to take the photographs required for the photography services requested for. The Photographer cannot be held liable for a lack of photographs if guests taking their own photographs of the Clients or subject(s) continually interrupt the Photographer's work.

19. House Rules

Note the Photographers are sometimes limited by rules imposed by registrars, ministers and venue management as to what can and cannot be done. For example, some ministers insist that no flash photography is allowed, and others will insist that the Photographers shoot from a specific location. In such circumstances the Clients agree to accept the technical limitations that may be imposed on the equipment used. The Clients are advised to make themselves aware of the rules of the venue concerned and if necessary, negotiate with the personnel concerned.

 

20. Refusal to Shoot

The Photographer reserves the right to not take any photograph that he deems inappropriate, unflattering or may cause any harm to his equipment or himself physically or mentally.

Post-production / Editing

 

21. Good Photographs

Good photographs refer to the photographs that are useable as deemed by the Photographer. These exclude photographs that the Photographer thinks are not sharp, have unflattering looks and expression of adult human beings, poor in composition or are similar (duplicates).

 

22. Basic Editing

If unspecified, all photographs will be subjected to up to basic editing. Basic editing refers to editing of the (1) exposure, (2) color and (3) cropping to the taste and style of the Photographer. The Clients trust the Photographer's style and have no right to reject or demand for amendments to the given photographs.

 

23. Hair and Makeup

The Clients, subjects and guests are advised to put on their best makeup to turn up for any shoot if they may appear inside the photographs, preferably by engaging trusted hair and makeup artists (HMUAs) that the Photographer has worked with before.

 

24. Quality of Photographs

Under certain circumstances, quality of photographs may be affected. These include shooting under harsh sun, at outdoor during night time, at indoor with dim light and no low white ceiling, when the subjects are moving fast and other unforeseeable situations. The Clients are advised to share all information with the Photographer before the shoot for better preparation. The Photographer needs time to set up his lighting equipment, test lighting and dismantle the equipment; in situation where the Clients directly or indirectly pressurize the Photographer to speed up in order to have more photographs taken, the Photographer may not use his lighting equipment. Color tone and brightness of photographs may differ in different screens and the Photographer uses his own screen to determine the most appropriate settings for the photographs to fit the mood he wants to present.

 

25. Shooting & Editing Style

Every photographer has his/her performance style of shoot and editing. The Clients trust the Photographer's style and do not expect the Photographer to follow another photographer's style.

 

26. No Re-Editing

Quality of photographs is subjected to individuals' views. By engaging the Photographer, the Clients trust the Photographer will do his best to produce the best quality photographs to his ability in each situation and thus the Clients will gladly accept the final photographs.

 

27. Quantity of Photographs

The Photographer makes no promise of any number of photographs that will be produced during the shoot; the Clients trust the Photographer will do his best to capture as many moments as possible at his own pace, without pressuring the Photographer. The quantity of photographs for events may be subjected to the activities planned; for portraits, it depends a lot on how well the Clients and subjects can cooperate and communicate. The Clients do not expect the Photographer to be holding his gears up all the time during the shoot.

 

28. Size of Photographs

All photographs will be given in dimension of a maximum of 2048 x 1365 pixels with 300 DPI, unless otherwise, stated before the confirmation of shoot. The Photographer, based on his own decision, may give photographs in larger resolution.

 

29. File format of Photographs

All photographs will be given in JPG. No raw photograph or camera RAW file will be given.

 

30. Timeframe of Delivery of Photographs

Final photographs will be given to the Clients around one (1) month after the end of the shoot. The Clients trust and understand that the Photographer will return the final photographs as soon as possible, without affecting the quality of his work, so that he can move on to take up more projects. The Clients must not directly or indirectly pressurize the Photographer to return the photographs earlier.

 

31. Express Delivery of Photographs

The Photographer does provide express services by giving higher priority to the Clients' photographs if the Clients require an earlier delivery of photographs and the availability of which is subject to the schedule of the Photographer. The charges for the express services will depend on the duration of actual shoot and timeframe of post-production work requested. Any such request, even for just one or two photographs, has to be made before the confirmation of the shoot.

 

32. Delivery Method of Photographs

Delivery will be done online for the ease of everyone and no CD will be given, partly for environmental issue. The finished photographs will be in a Flash Drive.

 

33. Redelivery of Photographs

The Photographer bears no responsibility of keeping a copy of the photographs. If the Clients require the Photographer to deliver the photographs again, an administration fee will be charged, subjected to the availability of the Photographer and photographs.

Copyright and Liability

 

34. Editing of Photographs

Any editing, including adding of filter and cropping, of the photographs is not allowed without prior written permission from the Photographer.

 

35. Copyright Law

The copyright of the photographs remains with the Photographer. The Photographer grants the Clients permission to make copies of the photographs under the conditions that the photographs taken by the Photographer are for personal use by the Clients and their friends and relatives. Sale, Publication or any Commercial use of the photographs is not allowed without prior written permission from the Photographer.

 

36. Model Release

The Clients grant the Photographer and its legal representatives, heirs and assigns, the irrevocable and unlimited consent to use the photographs of the Clients for editorial, competition, advertising and any other purpose and in any manner, to alter the photographs without restriction; and to copyright the photographs. The Clients hereby release the Photographer and its legal representatives, heirs and assigns from all liability and claims in connection with the photographs.

37. Limit of Liability

If the Photographer is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the photography services specified above, the Photographer will try to book a replacement photographer. In situation where there is a second photographer, this photographer will then shoot the day on his/her own. If both photographers are unavailable and a replacement photographer cannot be found then liability is limited to a refund of any payment received. The Photographers have working methods in place to prevent loss or damage to your photographs. However, there is the unlikely possibility that photographs may be lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons in or beyond The Photographer's control. In these circumstances’ liability is limited to the return of fees paid for the service or part thereof according to the percentage of photographs supplied.
